WORLD WILDLIFE FUND FUNDRAISING DAY

Thank you to everyone who dressed up in animal costume, animal print or in clothes with pictures of animals on, during our non-uniform day last Friday, to raise money for the WWF. We had an amazing range of creatures come to school and is was lovely to see so many pupils had really thought about their costumes and made a real effort.
Thank you to Heather in Year 4 for organising the fundraising day. She did an excellent job telling everyone about the event in assembly and putting up posters around school to publicise the day.
We are pleased to confirm we have raised £302.50 for the WWF. This is fantastic – thank you all for your contributions – your support is greatly appreciated.

CHILDREN IN NEED

Thank you to everyone who supported Children in Need last Friday, by wearing Pudsey accessories and buying the wonderful biscuits that our Reception classes had made. The Hedgehogs and Squirrels spent all of Thursday and Friday baking brilliantly, and a huge ‘Thank You’ must go to our EYFS team for all their hard work, and to mums, dads and all those who came to help out both in the kitchen and assisting in selling the biscuits. The biscuit sales raised £250 – an amazing amount, and the Pudsey accessories we sold came to another £108 so thank you for your support of this very worthy cause.
