Thank you for visiting our website; you’ll find a bit more about the school below:
The Tynings School is a mixed co-educational school for children aged 4 to 11. We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Staple Hill, near Bristol which is one of the largest cities in the United Kingdom. The school was opened in September 1967, so we’re not far off our 50th anniversary.
In September 2014, following an increase in our admission numbers, we opened a new building, Fleur’s Wing, which provides a stunning and stimulating environment in which our children can learn.
We also have an extensive outdoor area with many features, including a dipping pond, sensory garden, maze, large size field and playground areas, play trail, PlayPod and many other exciting areas for our children to explore.
The school currently has 13 classes of approximately 30 children and a yearly admission of 60 children.
We are very proud of our happy and caring community, and as you will see from this website, we provide a rich and balanced experience for our children to help them on their journey through school, and through life.
So, please look through the information on this site, especially the “children and classes” pages and our newsletters, to see the range of opportunities our children have and the exciting learning journey we all take at The Tynings School.
Remember, nothing can beat a visit to the school and you will find look-rounds for prospective mums, dads and carers on our website calendar.
If you have any further questions, please contact us. Once again, thank you for your interest in our wonderful school. We’re very proud of what we achieve here, and we’d be delighted to welcome you to find out more.
