There are many different ways to get involved with PSFA activities. Whether you have lots of time to spare or hardly any at all, we’re always keen to hear from people who’d like to help out in some way – whether its working on a stall at a Fayre, selling disco tickets, or even just emailing us with an idea or suggestion for a fundraising event. You really can do as little or as much as you’d like or are able – all input is much appreciated.
The PSFA holds regular meetings to discuss fundraising events – such as planning the next school disco or Family Picnic – and decide how PSFA money should be spent. Everybody is welcome along to these meetings, and we encourage people to come along to have they’re say. The committee is a very friendly bunch, with children in a range of classes across the school, and we’d love to welcome you along to a meeting soon.
If you can’t make the PSFA meetings, you can always email us and ask to be placed on our email list. This way, you’ll receive a copy of the minutes after each meeting takes place. If you have any comments on the minutes, or would like to add you opinion or make a suggestion based on anything that has been discussed, we encourage you to get in touch. Similarly, if you’d like a topic placed on the agenda for discussion at the next meeting, please do drop us a line and we’ll add it on.
The PSFA relies on help from parents and teachers from every class across the school. We’re always looking for parent helpers to carry out small tasks such as putting up posters for our Fayres or serving teas and coffees at school-run events. Perhaps you could donate a raffle prize or you might know someone who would like to sing or perform at one of our Fayres. We’d love to hear from you, no matter how small a contribution you think you could make.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for regular updates too. This is a great way to stay up to date with what the PSFA is currently working on and when the next meetings will take place.
Thank you for your support!
