In Term 4 our topic was “When I Grow Up.” We had lots of our parents and grandparents come in to talk about their jobs. We enjoyed learning about police officers, fire fighters, postal workers, scientists, doctors and many other jobs besides! Here are some highlights from our Easter term.

“Once Upon A Time…”

We have loved our traditional tales topic during Term 3. Acting out “The Princess in the Tower” with costumes, making gingerbread men of our own like the little old man and the little old lady in “The Gingerbread Man”, running our own “Three Little Pigs” builders yard and growing our own beanstalks just like “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Making porridge like “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” was another highlight! Each week we focused on learning a different story, immersing ourselves in it with actions and writing about each tale.

Here are some highlights from a busy and exciting Term 2. Mrs Leach, Mrs Weeks and Mrs Savage are really proud of the progress we have been making and our super enthusiasm for learning! Happy New Year hedgehogs!

What a busy first half term we have had. Well done hedgehogs on a super start to school life! You have settled in so brilliantly and Mrs Leach, Mrs Weeks and Mrs Savage are so proud of you all!

Our First Week

Welcome to our new Hedgehog class families! We are enjoying getting to know our new school. Here we are trying out the play trail and some of the areas in our classroom.

Our Displays and sometimes us!

You can see from our work and displays in our classrooms the variety of topics we cover. As the year progresses, the displays change. By July, you will be able to see the whole range of subjects we have covered. Our Working walls help us learn – the content builds as the term progresses.
