We are Otter class

Take a look at some of our work and sometimes us in the classroom. You are always welcome to come into school and take a closer look. You can see from the displays in our classrooms the variety of topics we cover. As the year progresses, the displays change. By July, you will be able to see the whole range of subjects we have covered. Our Working walls help us learn – the content builds as the term progresses.

Year 5 celebrated their learning from term 1 with a fantastic day exploring the exhibits at ‘We The Curious’ (formerly known as @Bristol). We took part in their ‘fossils and evolution’ workshop, relating to our topic of evolution!

As The Tynings Primary school celebrated its 50th birthday, Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed learning about the decade 1977-1987. We began the week with an 80s ‘dress up’ day! Then, later on in the week we invited the parents to Otters class to share our learning from the week, whilst making our own ‘Morph’ models (and animations!) Take a look at our 80s style album covers and clay models here…

We have really enjoyed our basketball sessions this term, led by Bristol Sport Foundation. Here are a few photos of us practising our skills!
