We had a Chinese New Year Wow Day, we did a dragon dance, then acted out the story with masks,  then we tasted noodles.

Year 1 Wow Day – Who is behind the mask?? Can you guess?

Y1 have been designing Book covers for One day on our Blue Planet. Aren’t they super!

Owls have been playing place value games and checking their recognition of 3d shapes

Owls have been dressing up and deciding who they would like to be!

We are studying the weather and have made mobiles for our classroom.

Owl class assembly was about raising money for Save the children this year. We also had a father who is a baker making a MARVELLOUS HARVEST LOAF!

We have made bread for our harvest assembly and collected coins for Save the children.

Take a look at some of our work and sometimes us in the classroom. You are always welcome to come into school and take a closer look. You can see from the displays in our classrooms the variety of topics we cover. As the year progresses, the displays change. By July, you will be able to see the whole range of subjects we have covered. Our Working walls help us learn – the content builds as the term progresses.
